Panic! on the Disco is a pop rock/electronica band structured out of Las Vegas, Nevada. The band is made out of Brendon Urie (vocals, guitar, keyboard) and his childhood good friend, Spencer Smiths (drums), inclusive of their schoolmate, Ryan Ross (guitar, keyboard, backing vocals).
To advertise their tune, the band made contact with Pete Wentz (of Fall Out Boy) thru his LiveJournal web site. Impressed by the band, Wentz individually met with the band and signed them to his imprint label Decaydance. Under the label, the band released their debut album, A Fever You Cant Sweat Out, which may debut at #112 at the Billboard 200 album charts.
Featured in Spin mag as their band of the day in early October 2005, reaching #1 on the MySpace chart, and continuously staying in PureVolumes Top 10 chart, may in basic terms help grow the bands popularity. An visual appeal on MTVs TRL on January 17, 2006, on the most beneficial in their tune video for I Write Sins Not Tragedies, additionally helped garner the band much exposure.
To date, the bands 2005 debut album, A Fever you Cant Sweat Out has offered over 750,000 instruments. The band is recently headlining a North American summer journey with The Dresden Dolls and The Hush kpop lightstick wholesale Sound, a band also signed to Decaydance.
